Enjoyed your review of the EJ Barley in gold finish. I would like to know if it is the same type of cast materials as most modern 3 piece razors are? (pot metal, cast, zamak) I would be interested in one but the pricing seems expensive for that material in a razor. What drives the price to be more than a traditional EJ razor?

I believe it’s the gold plating that raises the price. I’d have to look into the other materials for you Leo.

I would like to send you a GoateeSaver product for review. How could I do that? Thanks,
    Scott

I also live in Canada and was wondering which Canadian sites or stores you purchase products from as our dollar is taking a hit at the moment.

Seb, I find Italianbarber.com, mens essentials, Fendrihan and badger shaving company are my go to’s for the most part. you can also try European shops such as tvbshaving.com which has some awesome prices and very reasonable shipping.

      Hope this helps!!

Hello from South Africa and thanks for your videos and blog. I’m not sure if this is the right spot for this question but here goes. We’ve seen (probably only part of) your collection of brushes, razors, soaps etc and I would like to know how and where you store them all? For example, are they all laid out on your bathroom dresser or do you keep some there and others in their boxes or loose on shelves in a bedroom cupboard or something like that?

I keep my brushes in my bedroom on a dresser to stay dry. Once they are completely dry I either put them in a plastic cupboard I have or leave them out. Soaps I let air out after I use them and put them in a cupboard once dry. As for razors I let them air dry then put them away or I dry them with a towel then put them away. For me I feel you can store them anywhere as long as they are dry.
Glad you enjoy the blog and my channel. Feel free to ask me any questions. I’m always happy to answer!! Cheers!
